Every so often a monster gets made and I (or my boyfriend) decide to add it to our home collection. We try not to do this very often (or we'd have a whole room full) but on occasion we get a little attached. Some of them are experiments with new techniques and others are just a little funny but whatever the reason they get chosen to stay behind. I've decided to feature one of these special little fellas every week to share them with all of you :)
This little monster is Curby
Curby was made during a 2 month trip to New Zealand. I continued sewing while we were there and ended up coming back with a duffle bag full of monsters. Curby actually made it to the table at a Christmas craft show but he was just so kooky looking I decided to bring him home. He then became my face of Etsy (I thought he made a lovely avatar!) He doesn't get into to much trouble but he can't resist a good bucket helmet! He is also a really big fan of 1980's game shows and vanilla scented candles.
