Well, another weekend has past and I'm happy to say it was the last one where we double up on shows (for a few weeks at least :). Saturday was super busy. A friend of ours watched the table at the downtown farmers market, my fella watched the puppy, and Fremly & I spent the afternoon at the Underwear Affair!
Fremly is very excited to introduce you to Mr.Bottomsby. He was our big prize of the event and 120 people entered to win him (I think they liked his undies!). I've drawn the winners name and will be contacting them today to let them know Mr. Bottomsby will be coming over to their house to live. He's quite content watching daytime T.V so he should be a good addition to any family!
Fremly had a good giggle over all the costumes and fancy underwear at the show. He was quite impressed that one fellow ran the whole 10k in famous green Borat swimsuit. He kept texting his friends about all the silliness he was seeing! Around 1200 people showed up for the race and they raised more then $670,000 which is an amazing contribution to help fight cancers below the waist! It was very cool to be a part of it. yay! Maybe next year I'll try the 10k race...hmmm...maybe
I might be fit enough to do it with this little personal trainer. Who needs a gym pass when you have a very energetic puppy that needs 3 walks a day. We've been taking him for walks through the woods and he loves it! I think its funny that our whole world has completely shifted. Last month our big concern was how many monsters can we sew in a day, now it's how can we tire out Walter. It's a nice change and all the walks are a great way to get out of the house for a bit. This week, besides filling the usual monster making quota, I'm really hoping to get my etsy store stocked again. It's been sitting empty for far to long and I have some little guys who have been waiting to get adopted.
