I was so excited when I went to the Old Strathcona Farmers Market on Friday to set up and was told I could have a big corner unit right in the front. I can only stay there for a couple of weeks until the regular vendor returns with her poinsettias but I plan to make the most of it. Of course yesterday was a little funny because I was only planning to have a 6 or 8 foot table space and our stock was split between 2 locations so things were looking very sparse (as you can see by my fabulous blurry phone photo!). We're going to sew like crazy this week and hopefully have it looking nice and full for Saturday! Even with things looking empty-ish it still ended up being an amazingly awesome day! yay!

I've been trying to get more of the big monsters finished as well. As you may recall Mr.Mrumps was put on the table a few weeks ago. His nose and fancy tie made him a little special and we were getting sad because although he got a lot of attention no one wanted to take him home.....until yesterday! yay! A very nice lady adopted him and he happily went to his forever home :)

Klumphanan and his furry feet also got adopted!

Yesterday was also the first day that little Walter was left all alone. He usually comes everywhere with us but that had to end sometime :( It was just too bad that the first time had to be for 6 hours. We put up barricades so he had the hallway, stairs and landing to roam and we put out his bed and water dish. I was so proud when I got home because he didn't chew anything he wasn't supposed too (like the door.....or wall...or stairs) and there were no messes to clean up (whew!). We treated him to a long walk at the dog park and a big new chew and then he fell asleep all content. I do love that dog!
So now it's back to work, we'll be at the Salisbury Farmers Market on Thursday and Strathcona on Saturday. If you can't make it to one of those, Carbon Environmental Boutique on 104th still has a great selection of about 20 monsters to choose from. yay!
I hope you enjoy your Sunday!
