Hellooo! Happy Saturday! Just a quick note to keep you updated on what's new in the world of monsters as we quickly get in to the holiday season! Ack! I must admit though I was feeling very festive yesterday as I was running errands and kept getting sidetracked by all the pretty decorations (I'm like a crow, show me something shiny and I have to see what it is!). I'm going to try my best to wait until Dec.1 to put up all my decorations....we'll see what happens :)

We had another great market today. I was a little worried when I woke up to a couple inches of fresh snow, but this is Edmonton and people don't let a slight dusting of the white stuff keep them away from their markets! Lots of monsters found new homes which made me very happy. The business has been great but it's been tricky keeping up with demand, I was hoping to have a bit of a stockpile ready for etsy and some other craft shows but that hasn't happened. It's a wonderful thing but it means we are in the midst of a sewing frenzy trying to get enough just to keep up. Ahhh well, this is the busy season so we'll sew like the dickens for 4 more weeks then we can relax with some holiday cookies and a big martini!

I'm going to sit down tomorrow and see if it's possible to actually get some on Etsy. If I don't have enough, I apologize to anyone who wanted to buy one this way but I won't be able to have any available for online sales for this Christmas. I'll post on here once I know :)

Next weekend (Nov.28&29) is the Royal Bison Craft Show, it's always lots of fun and there are some great designers there! We'll be there as well as the Old Strathcona market. My goal is to sew 80 this week so we have 100 monsters between the 2 locations. It'll be a great time to get some early Christmas gifts!

We are also still at the Salisbury Greenhouse Farmers Market every Thursday from 4:30-8. They have a brand-new website:

In non-monster related news, little Walter turned 8 months old this week (he's growing up so fast!) He also got to meet some family when my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew visited from BC. I put him in a new shirt which got him rather upset and he wouldn't acknowledge anyone until I took it off (I can't blame him, poor fellow :). I don't think I'll put him through that again, even though reindeer antlers are pretty tempting......
