I make monsters! Friendly monsters that are looking to be adopted in to good homes. They are loveable, huggable and enjoy big mugs of ovaltine! They also love naps in armpits... I don't know why, maybe they find it extra cozy :)
I started sewing monsters in December.2005 on a long car trip. By the time we arrived at our destination I was hooked. It was a hobby for a couple of years but after seeing the response from friends and family I decided to try and sell my little creations. My first farmers market was in Vernon, BC in May.2007. I sold one and was very excited. Now it's 2011, this is my full time job and over 10,000 Belua monsters have found there way into new families around the world! My fantabulous, wonderful boyfriend started out making name tags for me, but over the years he has become my toy-making partner. His designs are amazing and he has embraced his inner crafty-guy (Yay!). His dad decided to take on the mammoth job of being the monster-namer. He lives in Vernon and every week sends me 100's of awesome names to choose from. Each monster is unique so the names are very important!

All of our monsters are hand made from new socks and recycled fabrics, they are one-of-a-kind and hopefully will make you smile!
